How it works

  • Once you’ve sent your text, you’ll receive a confirmation text message to confirm your investment.
  • If you are a UK taxpayer, you can add £2.50 Gift Aid to your investment at no extra cost to you. Simply click on the link sent to you via text message and follow the instructions.
  • Your £10 investment will be added to your mobile bill, whether you pay monthly or pay as you go.
  • After your initial investment, you will be asked if you would like to make a regular monthly payment of £10 to The Hunger Project UK, reply ‘YES’ to donate £10 per month. 

Terms & Conditions

  • You’ll be charged £10, plus one message at your standard network rate.
  • By texting THPUK to 70085 you are agreeing to us contacting you by phone and SMS to tell you more about our work and how you can support it.
  • To invest £10 without receiving contact by phone & SMS text ‘THPUKNOINFO’. Note if you opt to make a regular monthly investment, you will still receive monthly payment admin texts as part of the service.
  • If you have chosen to add Gift Aid to your text, you are confirming to being a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all the donations in that tax year it is your responsibility to pay any difference.
  • Donr take 5%(+VAT) off all text message investments for use of their service.
