Our Approach

The Hunger Project empowers people to end hunger.

We believe that people
are extraordinary.

Our work in Africa, South Asia and Latin America is based on an innovative, holistic approach, which empowers women and men living in rural villages to become the agents of their own development and make sustainable progress in overcoming hunger and poverty.

We do this by empowering women and girls, unleashing the leadership of people living in hunger, championing community-led development and ultimately helping communities to become self-reliant.

Our work is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, a blueprint of 17 goals for a more sustainable future for everyone, including the end of extreme hunger and poverty by 2030.
