Avanti Nagral
Avanti Nagral is an interdisciplinary performer, content creator and entrepreneur known for her work in amplifying social issues and sparking meaningful conversations. With a passion for social impact, she uses her platform to advocate for education, health and gender equity through her unique blend of storytelling and music.
Avanti’s work fosters a culture of empathy through collaboration and community building at a global scale. As an “internet older sister”, she challenges societal norms through open dialogue around sex education, menstruation, mental health and other taboo topics by making them accessible across mediums, languages, and generations.
Her expansive community, comprising over 1.5 million individuals, shares a collective passion for learning and celebrating cultural diversity, as they collaboratively work towards breaking barriers and building bridges.
Avanti was the first person in the world to pursue a dual degree at both Harvard University and the Berklee College of Music. Avanti has spoken and performed on 100+ stages across the world ranging from prestigious academic institutions and global conferences to artistic venues and festivals. She has represented South Asia at the United Nations, and at the world’s largest gender equity and reproductive health summits, among others.
Aliza Ayaz
Aliza Ayaz is a health & climate consultant. Her work focuses on mentoring students, advising governments and universities on sustainability strategies, and leading conversations that connect climate action with health, equity, and innovation. She has built a community of more than 142,000 individuals united by a shared commitment to combating climate change and shaping sustainable futures.
While a student at University College London, she founded the Climate Action Society (CAS), a movement that continues to inspire youth-led climate action across the UK. She still serves as Executive Director today.
In 2020, Aliza became the youngest, and the first Pakistani student to be appointed as a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador. She has since spoken at more than 300 events worldwide, from TEDx and The Economist’s Sustainability Week to medical summits, school assemblies, and corporate ESG roundtables. Aliza has been featured on BBC, CNN, and Sky News for her work on social projects, such as feeding the homeless, building poly clinics for the underprivileged, and taking climate action.
