The Letter
Last summer, “The Letter,” created in partnership with film studio Kaptcha, beautifully captured the transformative impact a single letter could have on transformation and change.
“The Letter” allowed three incredible women the opportunity to tell future generations that there is hope, that there is a brighter tomorrow, that their hard work and perseverance will lead to change.
Meet the three women in the film
Meet Faridah, Hansa and Hadijah…
Faridah, Uganda.
Is a mother of 8 who trained with The Hunger Project to be a farmer.
She built a micro processing factory on her land to process millet, soy and pumpkin.
Hansa, India.
Restarted the dairy farm in her village after recognising how important it was to the community.
She became the village leader and now leads a team that protects 630 hectares of forest land. Watch her story in full.
Hadijah, Uganda.
Took part in income generating and agricultural workshops. She now is a smallholder farmer, educator, housebuilder, and landlord.
Plans on establishing a training center for underpriviledged youth.
