Enough Food For Everyone IF – BigIF
Saturday 8 June – All Day Event – Hyde Park
Tim Holder says: ‘As you all know we are proud members of the ‘Enough Food for Everyone IF‘ coalition of 180+ NGO’s and Faith Groups and we are delighted that IF Chair Sally Copley (from Oxfam) and the team have embraced ‘One World One Song‘ and made it one of the official anthems for the campaign‘. (Press release).
As the high point of the coalition’s activities in the lead up to G8 leaders arrival in the UK in ten days time, 40,000 people are expected to attend a major rally ‘The BIG IF‘ in Hyde Park tomorrow June 8th.
As part of your commitment to ending hunger, we know many of you will already be there with us and we are delighted to have heard just yesterday that ‘One World One Song‘ has been invited along too!
Led by Dionne Warwick, Joe McElderry, London Community Gospel Choir, Southbank Sinfonia and young people from Woodbridge School, Thomas Mills and Westbridge in Suffolk, we are very proud to announce that the full music video will be broadcast on the big screens to IF Supporters in the lead up to the main stage speeches.
With all that attention, we may still manage to get our musical vision for the ending of hunger into the charts in time for the G8’s arrival in London.
